Zhilbar got His outfit together, looking forward to the coming evening. Now, to get His date...

Naoko had looked long and hard before she'd found the right dress. Something short, casual yet classy, she hoped that it would suitable wherever Zhilbar had wanted to take her dancing. With a mental note, she knew she'd have to go shopping again.

She fastened the small necklace he'd given to her, fingering the purple pendant lovingly before going to where he waited.

And the jaw? It dropped.

Clear to the floor.

There may have been some bug-eyed action happening, as well!

Naoko looked up to see Zhilbar's jaw drop clear to the floor. A frown creased her forehead, and she took a look at herself again.

"Forgive me dearest, but am I underdressed for this?"

Jaw comes up so He could speak, eyes remain glued to His lady!

"If you were, I'd have the rules changed. You are devastating, Beloved!"

And now He's kissing her. He's quite enthusiastic about it, as well! Not to mention glad that He made sure to have plenty of time before they had to be there.

She kisses him back passionately, her hands around his neck quite tightly, the flowers and everything around them forgotten. She's enjoying this.

Oh, gryth, did she ever taste good! It was so tempting just to lay her down on the bed... No! There would be restraint! He intended to take His darling dancing tonight, and would not be sidetracked by His libido!

Breaking the kiss, He smiled at her. "I have got to remember not to do that so much. You're just so tempting, love!"

He bows with a grin and offers an arm.

She stepped back a bit too reluncantly and smiled, taking his arm and pressing the flowers close to her nose.

"Thank you, dearest. These are lovely." She laid her head against him, enjoying the moment.

Nuzzling the top of her head, He strokes the rest of her hair, just blissed-out in the timeless moment...

And then it's several minutes later and that is finally noticed.

"Well darling, shall we?"

With a quiet but contented sigh, she nodded.

"Yes, dearest."

Taking up her arm in His own, He grinned and opened a door for her, showing off the sleekly elegant towncar He had brought for this evening. After all, why ruin the ambiance?

The quirks of this car notwithstanding, of course... He ushered her in the passenger side, like the most smooth valet. Discreetly setting her purse in her lap, He shuts the doors and moves around to the other side, getting behind the wheel.

He thinks she looks absolutely luscious as it is, but after that fun little time she might be of the opinion that her makeup needed retouching..

As Zhilbar moved to the other side, Naoko did what any self-respecting woman would do.

She touched up her makeup.

All it took was just a quick reapplication of her lipgloss, all done before he sat at the other side.

And awaaaaaay they go! The car seems almost to thrum with power; practically steering itself, it slides through portal after portal until it reaches the destination. Getting out on His side as Naoko-chan's door opened on its own, He came around quick to help her out of the car.

Upon getting her out, He took out the keys and clicked one of the buttons; the car seemed to suddenly stream inside the little button-pad, thus making parking a moot issue.

"Here we are, Milady!" There's a hint of a grin on His face.

Naoko could not help but whistle at the car disappearing.

"Now that's what I call portable," yes, it was a bit unladylike, but Naoko didn't pretend much, if at all. She twined her arm into his and looked at the entrance.

"And this is...?" She looked up quizzically at her beloved.

Naoko-chan was herself, FAR more important than being a lady! Grinning as He clasped her arm gently, with a casual gesture at the snazzy hall. "Just a little place I know here in Barcelona, love; hope you're ready to party!"

He leads her in with a broad sweep and a grin, His jacket developing black spangles as they came inside.

With a grin, Naoko knew immediately what he was proposing. A night out on the town, with Tango in the mix... She could not love him more this moment even if she tried.

"Tango, beloved?" she grinned mischieviously.

"Why darling, however did you guess?" His eyes twinkle merrily as they pop first into Ca l'Isidre next door, geting greeted by the head waiter cordially and shown to their table. "What are you in the mood for, My dear Naoko-chan?" Want to make sure she doesn't have her stomach rumbling on the dance floor!

"Hmmm... Why don't you order, dearest? Something light, but not too much alcohol," she was looking at the dancefloor with almost greedy eyes.

There's a broad grin on His face as he signaled over the waiter. "My devastatingly beautiful date and I would like to get the appetizer of shrimp scampi with the dipping sauce, a bit of the pate de foie gras, and the seared ahi with scallops and scallions. As for wine, I believe we shall go with the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc 1996, thank you." The waiter, jotting all this down, bowed himself away with a 'thank you.'

Zhilbar grinned over at Naoko-chan. "Small amounts of tasty things, and a nice fillet as well; we should be just fine. Looking forward to fun, love?"
