They switched into a succession of steps, and Naoko felt she could do this forever. By the end of the night, she knew that her body would be aching, but the magic they created would last beyond this night and this tavern; it would make the whole place seem positively enchanted.

The dance came to an abrupt end, like most, but it with a flair few could have predicted. There was a stunned silence as he held her in the end, finishing their dance with a querbada and then ending it at last with an especially strong sentada.

They didn't even hear the applause; being too buy looking into each other's eyes.

When the judges chose, awarding the trophy to dragon and damsel by unanimous acclamation, they broke out of their loving trance only after getting nudged a few times by a heartily embarrassed announcer. The golden cup given over to Naoko-chan, He smiled broadly as He leaned over and whispered into her ear.

"Darling, shall we continue? I'm treasuring this and would love to go on, but you make me burn for you. Just say what you wish.."

She thanked those who were congratulating her, pausing a moment to listen to her love's whisper. Putting her head on his shoulder, she turned up and kissed him, surprising everyone, including him.

"One more dance, love?" An impish smile on her lips.

Surprised yet quite pleased, He kissed back enthusiastically, drawing back with a bemused smile..

"Saving the last dance for Me, darling? I'm honoured." He grins, drawing Himself up again with His arms around her waist.
